About Casey Sanders
As the son of television broadcasters turned college professors, it comes as little surprise that Casey Sanders is a gifted storyteller, public speaker, and oral advocate. That innate skill—in tandem with a healthy intellect, even temperament, and an ability to see the big picture—have combined to produce a strong client advocate.
"I am fiercely committed to my clients’ well-being,” says Casey, “and that means not only working with them to successfully resolve their legal issues, but also helping them work toward their goals for life after their family law matter is concluded."
Casey is a problem solver who considers the perspectives of all parties involved in the process. For this past president of the Clark County Bar Association Family Law Section, that means maintaining mutually respectful relationships with opposing counsel, their clients, and the courts.
"I like to think I’m a patient listener and an astute observer of human nature. I am not just an attorney helping a client or working on a set of legal facts. I am one human being helping another human being."
In Casey’s mind, every person deserves to be listened to and heard.
"If I had to summarize what motivates me,” he adds, “it would be this: I want my clients to feel that they are going to be alright, and that I will do what I can to make things better."
Achieving that result sometimes can be elusive, acknowledges this outdoor-loving, Oregon Ducks fan. But he contends that the odds are improved dramatically when clients place their trust in McKinley Irvin, “because the firm specializes in one thing and focuses on doing that one thing extremely well.”
"Family law is all we do,” he adds. “I don’t know everything. But if I don’t know it, there is someone here at the firm who does. We’re a great team."
