About Yina Finch

Yina Finch began her legal career as a domestic violence victim advocate, accompanying survivors to court hearings and providing emotional support. She saw firsthand how legal representation could make a profound difference in people’s lives and recognized the need for more dedicated family law attorneys. That experience inspired her to pursue a legal career, and from the moment she entered law school, she knew family law was where she belonged.

With a focus on child custody, parenting plans, and domestic violence protection orders, Yina is passionate about advocating for families and ensuring that the right custody arrangements are made from the start. She believes in clear communication and setting realistic expectations from the beginning, helping clients approach their cases with both preparation and flexibility. While she strives to resolve disputes amicably, she is ready to fight when necessary to protect her clients’ interests.

"Helping clients navigate one of the most challenging times in their lives and seeing them come out the other side with hope and a fresh start is what drives me every day."

Nothing is more rewarding to Yina than handing a client their final divorce papers and knowing she has helped them close one chapter and step into a new, hopeful future. She takes pride in guiding her clients through difficult transitions with honesty, open communication, and a steady presence.

Outside of work, Yina is an avid rock climber and skier and enjoys rollerblading around Green Lake, crocheting, and reading contemporary Japanese and Asian American literature. She also shares her home with two beloved rabbits.
