Partner Samuel Page Appointed as Commissioner Pro Tempore
McKinley Irvin is pleased to announce that Tacoma Partner Samuel Page has been appointed as a Commissioner Pro Tempore in Pierce County Superior Court.
As a Commissioner Pro Tempore, Sam will be called to preside over matters when a sitting Commissioner is unavailable. Candidates for this role are typically selected based on various criteria, including their depth of experience and knowledge, their adeptness in objectively interpreting legal matters, and their capacity to exhibit a judicious demeanor under pressure.
Sam has a strong reputation as an attorney in Pierce County and is a regular speaker on cutting-edge family law topics. Passionate about helping underserved populations, Sam has been published on family law in tribal court. He also served as an adjunct professor for Seattle U Law’s Applied Family Law and Applied DVPO Practicum, helping to provide pro bono legal services to those in need.
Sam has been distinguished as a Washington Rising Star by Super Lawyers, included in the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch list, and maintains a 10.0 “Superb” rating on Avvo.com.
Sam presided over his inaugural Pro Tempore Commissioner’s docket on March 5th. We congratulate him on this well-deserved appointment.
