2011-2012 U.S. News: Best Lawyers “Best Law Firms”
SEATTLE — McKinley Irvin, Washington’s largest law firm focused exclusively on divorce and family law, announced today that the firm has earned a Metropolitan First-Tier Ranking in Seattle for the practice area of Family Law in the 2011-2012 U.S. News – Best Lawyers “Best Law Firms” annual rankings.
This is the second year that McKinley Irvin has achieved placement on the “Best Law Firms” rankings by U.S. News Media Group, the publishers of U.S. News & World Report, and Best Lawyers®.
U.S. News and World Report conducted extensive nation-wide surveys of clients, lawyers, law firms and recruiters. They combined their results with the current “Best Lawyers in America” surveys of leading lawyers to determine its ranking of the “Best Law Firms,” both nationally and by metropolitan area.
To rank in U.S. News – Best Lawyers “Best Law Firms,” a firm must have at least one lawyer currently listed in Best Lawyers®, an annual peer-review based ranking of lawyers. Two McKinley Irvin attorneys, Marc T. Christianson and David B. Starks, were selected by their peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® 2012.
