Attorneys Named to Super Lawyers & Rising Stars 2012 List
SEATTLE — McKinley Irvin, the Seattle-based divorce and family law firm, announced today that four McKinley Irvin attorneys have been named to the 2012 Washington Super Lawyers and Rising Stars lists.
The annual Washington Super Lawyers list selects attorneys who have attained high peer recognition and professional achievement in Washington law.
Selected for inclusion in 2012 Washington Super Lawyers:
- Marc Christianson, Partner in Charge, Family Law and Collaborative Law
- Jennifer Payseno, Partner, Family Law
- David Starks, Managing Partner, Family Law
Selected for inclusion in 2012 Washington Rising Stars:
- Laura Carlsen, Associate, Family Law
Christianson and Starks were also selected by Super Lawyers as two of the top 100 attorneys in the state, a group making up less than 1% of the attorneys in Washington.
All three McKinley Irvin partners have been named to the Washington Super Lawyers list for several years; this is the third consecutive year for both Starks and Payseno, and the seventh consecutive year for Christianson. This is Carlsen’s first year as a Washington Rising Star.
“Due to their consistent leadership and professionalism in the practice of law, we are proud that our firm’s partners are nominated by their peers year after year for the Super Lawyers distinction,” said Sands McKinley, founder of McKinley Irvin. “And we are equally proud to consistently have our up-and-coming family law attorneys listed as Rising Stars, who will no doubt evolve into the firm’s next generation of Super Lawyers.”
