SEATTLE — McKinley Irvin, one of the Pacific Northwest’s largest law firms focused exclusively on divorce and family law, announces the addition of Associate Jill Mullins to the Seattle office.

Jill is a current board member and past president of the GLBT Bar Association of Washington Foundation (QLAW Foundation). She has participated in numerous Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans (LGBT) events as both a panelist and speaker. Her article “The Role of the State in Washington Marriage: Same Sex, Different Rights,” appeared in the September 2007 edition of the Washington State Bar News.

“Jill is passionate about family law and has extensive knowledge about LGBT law. She is an invaluable resource for our firm and our clients,” said David Starks, managing partner.

Mullins earned her law degree from the University of Washington School of Law. She earned her bachelor’s degree cum laude from Wells College.

While attending law school, Mullins was given the Charles Z. Smith Award for Public Service. This September she was honored by the School of Law University of Washington Alumni Association as a Leader for the Global Common Good Recent Graduate Award.
