David Starks Presents on Custody Litigation at UT
SEATTLE – On Jan. 24, 2013, McKinley Irvin Managing Partner David Starks will participate in the panel Innovations—Breaking Boundaries in Custody Litigation at the University of Texas School of Law. Starks and other leaders in the field of family law will discuss a variety of custody-centric topics including the cross-examination of mental health professionals, the ethics of child custody evaluations and creative strategies for litigating unusual cases.
An experienced lawyer who specializes in the practice areas of child custody, child support and divorce, Starks is accustomed to navigating the choppy waters of family law, promoting a client philosophy that emphasizes communication and collaboration. “[Client] concerns are my concerns. Their stress is my stress. Their worries are my worries,” says Starks.
Starks regularly lectures (both as a panelist and a presenter) for the American Bar Association, the Washington State Bar Association and the King County Bar Association. He was recently named one of the Best Lawyers in America® 2012 by his peers.
Innovations—Breaking Boundaries in Custody Litigation is presented by the University of Texas School of Law and the Texas Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
